A) What is labelling in Locowise and how does it work?

The Batch Labels tool allows you to assign markers to specific posts from yours or a competitor's social profile, then generate label-specific reports in Report Builder and Content Drilldown.

You can use labels to identify posts related to specific campaigns, product lines, community managers – or any other application you can think of!

B) Assigning labels

To assign labels to content, simply follow these steps:

  1. Head to the Content Drilldown section.

  2. Click the purple Batch Labels button at the top right of your screen.

  3. Make sure the selected profile(s) and date range are correct. If not, choose the correct profile(s) and date range using the dropdown menus, and click Run.

  4. Select each post you want to assign a label to (this appears as a large green tick). Alternatively, use the search bar to find all posts with a specific keyword/hashtag and click "Select All" to choose all of them.

  5. Once you've selected all the relevant posts, click the long text box and enter the name of the label(s) you want to add (or choose from the dropdown of existing labels). If you've typed in a new label, press the Enter key to confirm your selection.

  6. Click the purple Apply button to save your changes.

C) Running campaign reports in Report Builder

To run a label-specific campaign report in Report Builder, simply follow these steps:

  1. Head to the Report Builder section.

  2. In the row of social icons, select the 'blue ticket' icon. Note: this icon won't be visible if you haven't labelled any posts yet.

  3.  Select your desired campaign label and click Run Single Label Report.

D) Filtering your posts by a specific label in Content Drilldown

To only view your labelled posts in Content Drilldown, simply follow these steps:

  1. Head to the Content Drilldown section.

  2. Select the 'Filter by' dropdown menu at the top of your screen.

  3. Select the checkbox next to the desired label and click the green Run button to apply the filter.
